🌱 Homeschool Botany: Seed Travelers!

The Great Seed Dispersal Adventure

Thursday, November 12, 2026 | $15 per student

2:30 PM – Ages 9–12

How does a tiny seed travel from one place to another? 🌎🌱

In this month’s Homeschool Botany, young scientists will discover the amazing ways seeds disperse—or spread—from place to place. We’ll explore how seeds can fly through the air, float on water, hitch a ride on animals, and even launch themselves!

Students will become scientists as they conduct hands-on seed dispersal experiments, make observations, and learn how to record and compare their results on a data table.

Then, we’ll put our knowledge into action by creating seed “bombs” to take home and use to help beautify an appropriate outdoor space.

It’s a hands-on lesson filled with science, experimentation, data collection, creativity, and a little bit of dirt!
